Day in Chicago!!

I finally have Eric's camera and here are the pictures from our day in Chicago!

We started the day off with a picnic outside of the zoo.  

The zoo was a definite highlight of the day.  Eric loved the monkeys!!

We walked to the beach!  

Since it was so hot, we spent most of the time in the water.  

It was so fun just talking and goofing off :)

After the beach, we walked back to the zoo and saw the monkeys one more time.  Then we were off to Navy Pier.  It was soo cool seeing the city at sunset. We walked around and did some shopping.  For dinner we went down to the very end of the pier and watched the boats come in and the sun go down.  After this we went on the ferris wheel and then headed home.  It was a great day and I think Eric really enjoyed his 20th birthday.

Weekend Home

So I decided to go home last weekend and man it was a great time.  I got there around 3 and mom and I went shopping.  When we finished we went out to eat with dad and Michael. I had never seen the movie Tootsie so we watched that one as a family.  I got to go see Grandma on Sunday! She looked great! Dad grilled salmon for dinner and it was outstanding.  It was the first time all 5 of us have been together since Chucks birthday! Dad and I were looking for my graduation slideshow when we came across some old home videos! We laughed as a family for about an hour watching them.  It was the best 27 hours ever
